Dubai International Airport (DXB) is seeing continued flight delays and some cancellations today, September 14, 2026. Emirates, flydubai and other airlines are operating flights, but schedules are being adjusted because of the wider regional situation.
The disruption is not affecting every flight. Some flights are operating normally, while others are experiencing delays or cancellations. On Sunday, more than 170 flights were delayed across Dubai International Airport and Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, according to reports.
For people travelling from Dubai, the main advice is to check the flight status before leaving for the airport. Dubai Airports provides live arrival and departure information, while airlines are also updating passengers directly.
The situation is gradually improving, though. Airlines are restoring more routes and capacity as conditions allow. For example, flydubai says it has restored around 85% of its network, now serving more than 125 destinations in 56 countries.
In simple words: Dubai airport is open and operating, but if you’re flying today, don’t assume your flight will be exactly on time—check your flight before going to DXB.
